Virgin Money Australia is a financial services company that was established in 2003 by the Virgin Group and Macquarie Bank. The company was bought by the Bank of Queensland in 2013.

Virgin Money’s passion is to help Australians realise bigger possibilities through the delivery of beautifully simple and rewarding financial products, all backed by a legendary customer service. The company rejects the notion of complex financial services but instead aims for clarity and simplicity in everything it does. It offers a range of financial products, including savings accounts, credit cards, home loans, superannuation and insurance products.

Aside from offering these products, Virgin Money is committed to supporting vital communities. In 2017, it started a new partnership with HeartKids, an organisation that helps navigate the lifetime journey of the 64,000 Australian children, teens and adults affected by congenital/childhood heart disease – the largest cause of infant death in Australia.

Whether you are buying your first home, refinancing or investing, Virgin Money offers competitive fixed and variable interest rates, with discounts based on the size of your loan and loan-to-value ratio.

Its home loan products come with features such as free extra repayments, flexible repayment schedule, and Velocity Points on settlement, every month and on regular anniversaries. To be able to earn and redeem Velocity Points, you must be a Velocity member. (Velocity membership and points earnings and redemption are subject to the member terms and conditions.)
