Newcastle Permanent has updated its interest rates effective this week – all are down with the lowest at 4.19% on its two-year fixed rate home loan.

The lender’s lowest rate for its Premium Plus Package – Variable Rate Loan is 4.62% for Tier 4 from 4.87%. The same package but under the Credit Facility product category has the lowest rate at 4.70% for its Tier 4.

Newcastle’s variable Real Deal Home Loan is down from 5.15% to 4.90%, while its Discounted Real Deal Variable Rate Loan also slipped from 4.90% to 4.65%.
