Mortgage Choice has created a new program in an effort to help improve the abilities of its franchise workers and loan consultants.
The new program will be less complicated than previous training initiatives, and will help its 1,000 franchisees - and in turn, Mortgage Choice customers.
"The Continuous Learning Program allows us to help our franchise network help themselves by expanding the ways they can develop professionally. This serves to benefit each individual in our network as well as the customers they serve," said a spokesman for Mortgage Choice.
New training procedures will include a compulsory two-week induction, and completion of a Certificate IV in Financial Services. The training reform has been developed through consultation with key members of staff and also with the help of leading franchise expert, Greg Nathan.
Mortgage Choice franchisees participating in the program will receive a handbook containing tips and a list of skills that are essential attributes of a successful broker. It also includes a list of available courses that will help put these skills into practice to help franchisees obtain a higher level of professionalism.
Mortgage Choice added that franchisees will obtain additional support through an online learning platform.
